First of all I must apologise for not writing this review earlier…..anyway here goes. We used Ramsey Douglas to transport our personal effects and a small number of hard furnishings on the sale of our villa. They proved to be very understanding and flexible when our first sale fell through. On the subsequent successful sale, the collection of our goods was carried out exactly on time and date promised and very quickly and efficiently by the two man workforce. It was explained that there would be a slight delay in the delivery to our home address, but this was understandable because of the Christmas/New Year break and the delivery was not an urgent requirement for us. We were kept up to date on the return of our property and this was eventually completed on the date as advised by the office in Spain. All the goods were delivered successfully and they were in the same excellent state as when they left our villa. We didn’t get any other quotes for the transfer, but I feel the charges applied were very fair and reasonable. I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ramsey Douglas to anyone who is planning to carry out a similar move to ourselves. Thanks again to them for making the final part of our adventure in Spain relatively stress free. Regards and best wishes for the future, John and Gwen.

Absolutely outstanding service, highly recommended, very professional company with extremely helpful and friendly staff hat took all the stress of moving away from us. No goods were damaged at all and our two cats were very well cared for during the journey, arrived safely and although a little frightened on arrival, within 5 minutes of the removal firm leaving, they were purring away and curled up asleep together on the sofa! Great value for money – we had three different pick up dates in Spain and kind enough to pick up my baby girl’s things last minute, all her things were kept together on the lorry and were the first things off in England (after the cats). I just wanted to drop a note to say a huge ‘thank you’ to both you, Ramsey and everyone at Ramsey Douglas. Moving house let alone country is a massive task; packing everything up, having it all shipped, into storage, then unpacking it all again…It’s been huge!! Luckily we chose Ramsey Douglas to ship everything for us and it was the best decision we could have made to make it as stress free as it can be! From my initial emails to you, your really helpful replies from Day 1, to the organisation emails with yourself leading up to the moving date, to Ramsey himself turning up early in the UK and expertly packing all our belongings, then them all arriving in Spain safely. The easy access to get the belongings we needed temporarily, to finally Ramsey and his team unpacking the boxes a month later in our new home…. It has all been such a smooth operation and we couldn’t fault it. Everyone has been helpful and friendly. We have finally unpacked (most) boxes and nothing has been broken or lost. I would highly recommend Ramsey, yourself and the whole team to anyone making the move between Spain and England and should we ever need to move again (I hope not!!) we would definitely be back in touch. I would just like to reiterate what I said to you on the phone last week with regards to the service that you provided for our furniture removals between Aberdeen and Spain.
